The Salford company has completed contracts for Trafford Health Trust, hotels group Ramada and Manchester University over the past year to achieve sales of £9.1m to the end of April.
It recently won a contract to fit out the BBC's three new studios in Me diaCity:UK in Salford, as well as the reception area.
Freemont, which began as a three-man outfit in 2000, launched its construction wing last year and now employs 110 staff. It seeks to recruit older employees with appropriate skills and has employed 13 former offenders under its social responsibility policy.
Its success has led to it being nominated in the turnover under £10m category of this year's Manchester Evening News Business of the Year awards.
Chief executive Noel Ruane - son of legendary Salford wrestler Giant Haystacks - said: "Trading conditions have been difficult, but we continue to thrive as we've become synonymous with top-class fit-outs and construction work.
"We are also being even more competitive, and our clients know that they get the quality they want the first time around. And another reason why we are doing so well is because our staff are 100 per cent committed to the company. From the start, I've been a firm believer that to get the best staff you need to inspire loyalty in them.
"We aim to triple turnover to around £30m in the next five years."
