The company has moved from Jersey Street to purpose-built, more eco-friendly premises in Ardwick.
The recycling base will also become the north west headquarters for the UK metal recycling division of One51 Group , which owns Howarth Metals.
James Cubbon, business development manager, said: "The size of the new site will allow for larger collections of scrap, making it more cost effective and efficient."
