PRIVATE equity outfit Bridgepoint Capital is mulling over a float of Cheshire-based retail chain Pets at Home.

Bridgepoint looked at a stock market listing for Pets at Home but scrapped its plans last year.

Now it has revived the idea and is also considering a private sale of the Handforth-based business, which it bought for £230m in 2004.
