The 95-strong team based in Parsonage Chambers in the city centre has moved on to shorter hours as part of a firm-wide initiative.
It follows similar measures affecting members of law firm Cobbetts' corporate team in the city and staff at accountancy giant KPMG.
Aedas said: "Some of the office's hours have been reduced in order to retain gifted and valued staff and stave off redundancies. We cannot predict how long this will last, but it is considered a short-term measure."
In Manchester, the Aedas team has designed schemes in Spring Gardens, Bauhaus, One Central Park and the Green Quarter, and flagship education developments in Darwen and Knowsley.
