DEALS to secure the future of the hotel group which operates the Etrop Grange, near Manchester Airport, and the Best Western Princess on Portland in the city centre are expected to be completed next week.

Folio Hotels, a £70m-turnover operator of 36 UK sites, employing 2,000 people, was placed in administration last month after suffering from cash flow problems during a costly refurbishment programme.

It is expected that the 36 hotels will be divided between a management team and Bespoke Hotels, whose portfolio includes Stanley House at Mellor, Lancashire. According to reports, Bespoke will take over 13 hotels.
