JAMcre8tive, the recently-launched design division of the Northern Quarter's JAMpr, has been hired to developing a brand for Blackpool Heritage.
Using a website, promotional literature and the full brand 'collateral' JAMcre8tive will support the resort's bid for World Heritage status.
Led by creative director and JAMpr's joint MD Dave Gee, the firm beat three rivals to land the account.
Heather Morrow, of Blackpool council, said she wants JAMcre8tive to develop a strong brand image, which can be used to build create a `distinctive, intriguing and professional image' for Blackpool Heritage. "JAMcre8tive's answer to the brief was fresh and innovative," she added.
JAMcre8tive has also picked up the brief to develop the corporate identity and marketing communication materials for mechanical and electrical contractor SMITHgroup UK.
Alex Baines, of SMITHgroup, said: "We were looking for an agency that truly understood the electrical installation and construction sectors.
"The team's experience and knowledge of this market was evident in both their communications and the distinctive concepts presented, which accurately captured our ethos."
Mr Gee said: "To have been appointed to undertake the creative briefs for such well established organisations in our first weeks of launching the design division is a fantastic achievement. We are excited to be implementing these creative campaigns."
Based in the Express Buildings, JAM was launched in October 2006 by Jaime Markey, formerly of Communique PR. Other clients include Velcro.
Jaime said: "Launching a design division was the logical progression, especially as we strive to offer our clients everything they need to deliver their own marketing campaigns." Tweet
