The Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, is the latest venue to use Saturn's Connectvision software to broadcast information about film times, seat availability, trailers and offers on 40-inch screens in the lobby, bar and concession areas.
Connectvision also allows live feeds from the internet to be screened. Empire is also using Connectvision at cinemas in High Wycombe and Basildon.
The Empire contract means more than 5,000 screens are now powered by Connectvision across the UK and Ireland. Its other customers include the Cineworld, Vue, Odeon and Apollo cinema chains.
Other companies which use its technology to display information and for multimedia presentations include Adidas, BT, Rolls-Royce, Heinz and First Choice. Saturn, established in 1998, is led by managing director Chris Welsh.
