The firm, whose roots trace back to 1843, when Deloitte & Halliday was founded, has 65 staff across offices in Manchester city centre and Bramhall, Stockport.
It has grown organically and by acquisition - Hallidays has completed eight takeovers in the past 20 years - to become a £2.8m-turnover operation.
The most recent merger, with Bramhall's Griffiths Wilson & Co, was in 2002.
Managing director Nigel Bennett - Hallidays is currently a limited company with directors, not partners - said he is looking to build fee income to £5m by 2012.
Hallidays will ring the changes when it moves to a single site at Kings Reach Business Park in the autumn.
Former MD Keith Elford will step down after nearly two years as chairman, and the practice will convert to a limited liability partnership. Flexi- working will be introduced to help staff with commuting, childcare and other commitments.
Hallidays is due to take possession of the new premises next week, and the final fit-out stage is expected to take two months.
Mr Bennett, 49, will become managing partner.
He said: "We prefer to be on one site, as it will bring greater efficiency. We are keen to develop the firm and the move is part of that process.
"At the moment, we hold our business club meetings at hotels, and we have to book places for seminars. At our new headquarters we will have meeting rooms for up to 80 people and training rooms.
"It will put us in an excellent position to support our growing client base."
Hallidays aims to bolster specialist areas such as financial services - covering pensions, investments and so on - and others including trusts, tax planning, corporate finance, business development advice and IT.
The firm advises solicitors, credit unions, charities and family trusts as well as companies.
Clients include Ellis Brigham, Manchester High School, Maidments Solicitors and the Greater Manchester Police Federation.
