HORTICULTURE TV gardening expert Chris Collins challenged businesses to help do more to support and inspire the agriculture sector at a business event at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park.

Chris, a former Blue Peter gardener, told the audience of his passion for plants and also for inspiring the next generation of young gardeners.

He said companies should do more than `just write a cheque' and by sponsoring community schemes and involving their own staff they could derive huge benefits.

The business breakfast was hosted by the Institute of Directors in the North West. It was attended by around 150 professionals and business people.
