SALE Sharks boss Brian Kennedy's company Patrick Properties has scooped a tenant for its Winsford industrial scheme in a deal that could be worth more than £10m.

Patrick Properties has secured a 138,000 sq ft pre-let at its Premier Park industrial complex in Winsford, on a 15-year lease agreed with Advanced Medical Solutions, who are specialists which specialises in wound care products - as reported in yesterday's M.E.N. The bespoke unit includes 21,000 sq ft of office accommodation.

The rent paid by AMS is understood to be approaching £700,000 a year, meaning the pre-let could be worth up to £10m to the Sharks boss.

Andrew Dickman, managing director of Patrick Properties, said: "Winsford has proven to be one of the most up and coming industrial locations in the north west.

"Because of its success, we intend to plough ahead with the speculative development of the remainder of the site, starting three new units totalling 55,000 sq ft."

The new building for AMS is expected to be ready by March next year. Lamonts and CBRE are joint letting agents.
