FREERANGE Design has produced a series of 1970s-style kitsch cinema
ads. The Manchester company's ads promote two of the UK largest
property agents, Tushingham Moore and Richard Ellis Insignia's
involvement with the Great Northern Leisure Shopping Development on
Deansgate. The ads promote the two companies by the use of
fictitious products such as hairspray and aftershave. Design
partner Steve Bridgeman said: "The ads have been great fun to work
on. The aftershave ad involved us taking us shots of our marketing
director Paul Basson in the guise of a secret agent complete with a
gun and metal suitcase handcuffed to his wrist. "To be honest, I
think he was getting a bit too much into the role and was a little
disappointed to have to return to his normal job!"
