TRAVELJIGSAW, the international car hire broker, has completed its £25m sale to private equity house ISIS. The M.E.N. broke the news of the deal last week.

The fast-growing company, owned by travel sector heavyweight David Crossland, founder of Airtours, trades as Carhire3000.com and last year saw profits jump to £2.2m from £465,000 in 2006.

Yorkshire Bank has provided a funding package of £8m to support the buyout.

Managing director Greg Wills, product and commercial director Nichola Moran, sales and marketing director Laurence Marlor and IT director Andrew Crossland met while working at MyTravel, formerly Airtours.
