The firm received its prize at the Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2008 which was organised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Morgan Ashurst has more than 2,000 employees in the UK and works for private and public sector clients on projects from £50,000 to over £300m.
Chris Purnell, Morgan Ashurst's safety, health and environmental manager for the north west, said: "This RoSPA award is a worthy reflection of the effort and dedication that the north west team have put into achieving and maintaining the highest standards for safety, health and the environment.

The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards require cross-referenced documentary evidence from entrants to demonstrate that they are exemplary practitioners of health and safety at every level, from site set-up to management systems.
