US-based Nxtbook, which provides digital versions of magazines, catalogues and other material for publication online, has taken offices in the Digital World Centre, opposite the site for mediacity:uk.
European operations director Darren Fowler said: "Manchester is a great location for us and, as the second biggest city in the UK, it is a well-known and established business hub." Its offices will be used for interviews, board meetings, sales presentations, conferences and product launches.
