The firm, which specialise in electrical lifts and handling equipment, are preparing to market the new vehicles. With a low carbon footprint - and potential uses both off-road and on - they hope it could boost turnover, which is already growing at 60 per cent a year.
Technical manager David Winterbottom explained: "We have expanded our range and moved into new areas, stretching from electrical lifters to all kinds of materials handling. We are selling to hospitals, councils, prisons and even zoos."
The business was founded in 2000 and now has 11 employees. Lift Safe specialise in the supply of reel handling and roll handling equipment; mobile work positioners and lifters as well as a wide range of electric vehicles.
They supply industries specialising in food and beverage and pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry and the logistics industry.
Clients include Typhoo Tea and Jacobs Biscuits.
