HKR Architects has been appointed by Ask Developments and Realty Estates for first phase redevelopment of the site on Bury New Road.
Developers promise that the 7.4 acre site next to the Manchester Evening News Arena, which closed as a working brewery in 2005, will be transformed into a thriving mixed use destination.
Ask Developments' executive director Alan Burke said: "The brewery is an iconic site in Manchester so its redevelopment and regeneration of the area is going to be closely monitored throughout the project."
