MAYBE it was a labour of love? Whatever the truth, staff at Walsh Simmons hope that people will fall head over heels for the idea of seeing Manchester favourites I Am Kloot performing at an intimate gig to mark Valentine's Day.

Walsh Simmons, which has an office on Chapel Street, Manchester, has produced a viral marketing campaign and website ilove kloot.com on behalf of the band fronted by Johnny Bramwell.

The campaign - the latest in our series of Made In Manchester features - also aims to drive interest in the band's new single Ferris Wheels, which is taken from the album I Am Kloot play Moulah Rogue.

The band is using the website to give one fan and a chosen guest the chance to go along to the gig at Night & Day in Oldham Street, Manchester.

Walsh Simmons' Adrian Moorhead said: "We were really pleased that the band liked our idea in the first place.

"To get exclusive footage of a local legend like Johnny performing Ferris Wheels on the webpage we created was an added buzz.

"Entry is simple, just go to ilovekloot.com add your name and email along with someone you'd love to take along."
