EXPERTS at Envirowise, which advises companies on how to become greener, has challenged north west firms to a two-month test to see if they can make savings by taking steps to be more eco-friendly.

It is offering free tips on how to cut consumption of water, energy and paper as well as minimising waste.

Regional manager Nick Ward said: "All we ask is that companies focus their efforts on one area, measure their use in January, implement a straightforward change and then measure again at the end of February. This should allow people to spot the difference and identify savings in a very short space of time."
