Danny says his Circus Zapparelli now includes more than 30 acts, from stilt dancers to Molly The Magic Bird, and from a 16ft-tall cowboy to a vampire illusionist.
The acts are also well known in city boardrooms, thanks to their team-building days and running firms' Christmas parties.
Team-building days include mornings spent learning juggling or tightrope walking, and afternoons putting on shows for colleagues.
Today, with turnover growing steadily, Danny is working on new theatrical productions, including a pantomime with an environmental theme called The Magic Tree.
"I'd been busking around Europe, arrived in Manchester in the mid-1990s, and it evolved from there. We now do team-building days for call centre staff, children's events, and appear at local fairs and festivals, as well as working as far away as Russia and Hong Kong.
"It's quite a wide market, which has helped us to grow, and we've also been lucky in finding our way with customers, and getting repeat bookings.
"Essentially, Circus Zapparelli is a Manchester-based business, but we've worked in all kinds of places and we'll go anywhere. It's great fun because we're bringing a bit of light into people's lives - and it's a fun business, too. It brings out the best in everyone."
