The units are based at the University of Manchester Incubator Company 's Manchester Bioscience Incubator and the adjoining new Core Technology Facility. Since its launch in 1999, companies such as Renovo and DxS have put down roots at the facilities.
Recent movement of tenants within the two state-of-the-art buildings has released two laboratories which are now available at the property on Grafton Street.
The university expects that a number of additional spaces will also become free over the next six to 12 months, in both the MBI and the CTF as more start-up companies grow up and move on.
The Incubator Company's Ruth McDermott is urging local bio organisations to be among the first to take up the available space.
