PRESTON-based developer Maple Grove has bounced back into the property scene, two months after bailing out of a Cheshire business park.

In May, Maple Grove sold the uncompleted Daresbury Park site at Runcorn for £21m, in a deal with Yorkshire developers Commercial Development Projects.

Now the company has unveiled plans for an office refurb- ishment on Deansgate - the upper floors of Lancaster Buildings - and a development in Crewe.

Maple Grove is working with the Duchy of Lancaster on a 27,500 sq ft office scheme - its first partnership with the Duchy, which owns some 4,000 acres of land to the east of Crewe.
