Based in Nantwich, Cheshire, Dairy Farmers of Britain is dedicated to using traditional methods of farming and markets around 1.6bn litres of milk each year from its 2,600 member farms, as well as producing a range of award-winning cheese brands.
Dairy Farmers of Britain's commercial director, David Potts, said: "These are exciting times for our organisation and we were looking for a PR partner who was as passionate about real, good dairy food as we are. Biss Lancaster presented the perfect mix of a hardworking media relations campaign coupled with creative, but relevant, measurable and cost-effective ideas. We are delighted."
Biss Lancaster's brief is to support the Dairy Farmers of Britain's `mother brand' Cadog, the Welsh dairy brand in Llandyrnog, the new Wonder Cow kids' brand described as `Fun, Natural Dairy with Attitude', and Granini, the international fruit juice brand which will be distributed in the UK.
The account team will include Suzi Burns and James Crawford, who said: "Food is now all about sustainability, provenance and the environment, and it is fantastic to be involved with an organisation that is owned and run by British dairy farmers.
"We are hoping to work with them for a long time - until the cows come home, in fact."
