THE team from
TMP Worldwide
has taken top honours in the Manchester Evening News Recruitment Advertising Awards for 2007.
The Manchester advertising agency won the award for Best Overall Advertisement with its work for the
Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The trophy was handed over during a glittering ceremony at the Midland Hotel last night.
The work had already been recognised with a win in the Best Advertisement Public Sector category and was selected by judges as the best entry in a very strong field.TMP Worldwide also scored an award in the Best Advertisement Industry Sector with its work for cracker giant
Jacobs.
Simon Toft, assistant managing director of M.E.N. Media Sales, said: "This is the 13th year of the Manchester Evening News Annual Recruitment Advertising Awards, which now encompass print, on-line and broadcast.
"This reflects the change in the market place and our commitment and investment in full colour print, on-line and broadcast platforms in
Channel M, for our recruitment advertisers and job seekers in the Greater Manchester region. "Each year the level of creativity gets better and better.
"Agreeing the category winners and the overall recruitment advertisement of the year provoked intense debate."
