Version One launches mobile invoicing system

Document management software developer Version One has launched a mobile invoicing system so users can pay their bills on the move using their smart phones.

DbAuthorise Mobile allows users to instantly authorise, reject or query supplier invoices from any email-enabled smart phone or tablet, including the BlackBerry, iPhones, iPads and Androids.

Managing director Julian Buck said: “As mobile technology evolves and demands on people’s time increases, it is essential that organisations recognise the benefits of mobile phone applications.

“DbAuthorise Mobile is an important addition to organisations’ document management software portfolios, ensuring that invoice processing is as efficient and painless as possible.”

Using DbAuthorise Mobile, each time the system receives an invoice for approval the user gets an email containing three different links, giving the option to approve, reject or query the invoice.

Mr Buck added: “With the introduction of DbAuthorise Mobile, we are giving our customers the ability to remotely authorise supplier invoices from a mobile device at any time and from anywhere.

“Organisations that are looking at improving invoice processing efficiency with fewer or the same number of staff, should look at investing in DbAuthorise Mobile, which for a nominal outlay can deliver a significant return.”

Wilmslow-based Version One was founded 20 years ago by Derek McGain and Tony Bray and the duo sold the business to Surrey-based COA Solutions in 2007.
