 Personal injury lawyers Calibre Solicitors have taken an additional 1,860 sq ft of office space at Orbit Development’s Orbit House, Eccles, expanding from 4,709 sq ft to 6,569 sq ft across two floors. 

*Planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore has secured outline planning permission - subject to a legal agreement - on behalf of Northern Trust Company Limited, for 100 new homes on the former BP Castrol Site, in Hyde, Tameside. The site was partly in employment use albeit the majority of the Site has been unoccupied since 2007 following the closure of the BP Castrol factory.

*Vintage furniture retailer Rose & Grey, has taken a ground floor office in Grosvenor House, 22 Grafton Street, Altrincham. The new shop totals 160 sq ft and the lease is for 12 months. The rent is £350 per month. Regional Property Solutions acted for the landlord Michael J Field Pension Actuaries.

*Outline planning permission has been awarded for a residential development in Brereton Heath, Somerford. Manchester based HOW Planning has secured the permission on behalf of a private developer who plans to build a high specification housing scheme.

*A former converted farmhouse in Chorley has been given a new lease of life as the base for a local design and marketing company, reports commercial property consultants Robert Pinkus & Co.  Crosses Farm at Shaw Brow, Chorley has been sold to Chorley-based Synergy Design, who has bought the premises for their new  4,900 sq ft design hub, located just off the A6, the main route to Preston city centre.

*Mountain Warehouse Ltd. has taken a 6,093 sq ft retail unit at Brunswick Road, Penrith from Booths (Penrith) Ltd. on a 10 year lease at an undisclosed sum. Robert Pinkus & Co. acted on behalf of the landlords in the transaction.
