The Blues want to spend £100m transforming a run-down 80-acre plot near the ground – but progress threatens to be stalled by Shaun O’Brien’s refusal to leave.

But Mr O’Brien is now offering plots of his land at OB Trucks, on Quinn Street, for £250 per square foot – and says he hopes to sell a minimum of 5,000 plots, which would work out at £1.25m.
