WE scour Manchester's party scene for women with a real sense of style. This week, Helen Tither caught up with Vicki Casselson, 31 , owner of Manchester-based model agency, EyeCandy at the Selfridges Kirsty Appeal fundraising fashion show.
How would you describe your style?
I'm a really lazy person, I don't think I have a style. I think I am a very plain girl really. I don't go for fussy things - apart from these shoes. I try to go for a classy look and I like to experiment.
Where did you buy tonight's outfit and how much did it cost?
Jacket:
Zara, é60
Jeans:
Topshop, é40
Shoes:
Office é70
Name your favourite shops.
Topshop is the best. I also love All Saints and Office. I have a thing about shoes but haven't we all?
What's your best ever buy?
A brown tweed blazer that I got from All Saints which I absolutely adore and wear it constantly still. it's timeless even though I got it four years ago
Who's your style icon?
One of my best friends Joanne who works as a personal shopper at Harvey Nichols. She's beautiful and stylish and she knows about fashion before the rest of Britain! She would look great in a bin bag.
What's your biggest fashion mistake?
Oh god, I would have to say the reversible jumper I had in the 80s. It had a giant Minnie Mouse on one side and thousands of little Minnies on the other!
How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?
A fortune! Actually, it depends how much retail therapy I need. Anything from é150 to é300.
What one item of clothing can't you live without?
My jeans, definitely. I wear my black skinny Topshop jeans every day with a vest.
