From Kate Moss to make-up masterclasses,
Helen Tither rounds up what's hot this week.
MOSS IS TOP OF THE SHOPS
Remember those queues of eager shoppers when Kate Moss' first collections arrived in store at Topshop? Well, the hullabaloo might have died down now – but we reckon her new range for the high street chain this spring is one of her best so far. Picking up on the “new boho” trend that's going to be so big this summer, it's full of fab floaty dresses and funky prints. Prices from £10-£150.
MAKE-UP MASTERCLASS
If you're spring-cleaning your make-up bag – and want a little helping hand, pop down to the RMK counter in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre. The cult Japanese beauty brand is jetting in some top make-up artists for workshop sessions, with personalised colour consultations for your skin tone. Until Wednesday.
UNMISSABLE UNDIES
A new spring/ summer wardrobe means investing in some gorgeous new underwear too. So don't miss House of Fraser's Continental Underwear week, starting today, with big discounts on all kinds of sexy smalls at the Deansgate store.
DESIGNER DISCOUNTS
Looking for a bit of “credit crunch chic”? Check out TK Maxx's BIG Label Fortnight (until June8), which Style hears will have a whole host of designer goodies at big discounts. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone how little you paid…
SOMETHING FOR THE GUYS
This week sees a special knees-up for Salford based men's grooming company, The Gentry, with all the city's most fashionable fellas planning to go down for cut-throat shaves and party antics.
See pictures from the event next Monday in our fab 12-page special issue of Style, dedicated to Manchester's trendy menfolk ahead of Father's Day.
