The Maybach limousine carries a price tag of between é260,000 and é299,970 and is capable of whisking its well-heeled occupants in from 0-60mph in just 5.4secs and almost complete silence.
Part of the Daimler Chrysler stable, the Maybach, is available from Mercedes Benz Manchester in its three guises: the 3390mm wheelbase 57, the 3827mm wheelbase 62 and the sportier 57S. The 57 and 62 are powered by a 550bhp 12 cylinder, 5.5litre engine; while the 57S boasts 612bhp from a slightly larger 6litre engine.
Every car is custom made, with options including bespoke trim and accessories such as luggage and sterling silver champagne glasses.
Mark Naughton, general manager at Mercedes-Benz Manchester Central, said: "We're delighted to be bringing the world's finest automobile to Manchester and are confident that its unique roominess, superlative engineering and exclusive style will appeal to customers."
The Maybach name returned after 60 years when it was unveiled as "the pinnacle" of motoring luxury at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1997. It owes its name to Wilhelm Maybach, a close friend of Gottlieb Daimler who helped to develop the first Daimler cars.
