Britain's Got Talent winner George was among the judges of the Dancing In The Street competition at Manchester's Printworks, and was overjoyed when dance troupe Shockout, won.
Warrington-based George, 15, was the big draw for the grand final event at the weekend - with hundreds of besotted fans cramming into the entertainment complex to catch George on the judging panel.
Street dancers Shockout won a £1,000 prize, plus the chance to be signed by a top dance agent.
But the loudest screams of the day were reserved for George - when he took to the stage to perform an exclusive new dance routine.
A spokesman tells me: "Staff were describing it as like Beatlemania when George came out.
"Some girls had turned up hours before the final just to get their place near the stage to see George, and many had brought roses and bouquets to present to him."
