PLANETPOP ran into the delightful Atomic Kitten at the Top Of The Pops Awards last week.

Despite missing out on any awards, Sultry Blonde Jenny Frost was made up to be back home in Manchester. ''It's great,'' she cooed. ''I'm gonna go out and meet all my mates now, pick them up, take them to the aftershow party and lower the tone!''

The girls were also reunited with dear departed Kerry Katona, doing a spot of TV presenting. Natasha Hamilton moaned that: ''She's just destroyed my top, she's pulled it all with the sequins.''

''It was one of the worst interviews ever,'' added Liz McLarnon, ''cos it was just madness. Not one question was asked. We were just singing songs and going 'rarara, there's a party after'!''

Liz McLarnon also revealed that the Kittens will have a new album out next year, which will be ''like Right Now, but more grown up''.

Meanwhile, AK have just announced their first proper UK tour, which will call into Manchester Apollo on February 23. Their planned Christmas single, 'You Are', has now been put back until the new year.
