James' reunion tour sells out

TICKETS for James' comeback tour have sold out in a matter of hours.

A total of 35,000 tickets were snapped up within hours of going on sale on Friday. The tour, which climaxes at the M.E.N. Arena on April 28, will see James take to the road for the first time since they split six years ago.

The Manchester band, led by Tim Booth, formed in 1981.

The single Sit Down, released in 1990 during the Madchester pop boom, catapulted them to fame before the release of radio favourites Laid, Come Home, and She's A Star assured their position as one of the most successful bands.
