THE last of the city's summer festivals, SWAP, is now underway.
Back for a third year, revered purveyor of Americana Guy Clark kicked off proceedings on September 13 (you can read a review of the show below).
Short for the Song Writers And Performers, SWAP made its debut in the events calendar in July 2005 by taking over the Manchester Academy as well as number of the city's outdoor live spaces.
Sensibly, with so many events jam-packed into the calendar this year, the organisers have taken advantage of the pre-university term lull to host this year's event.
Still set to perform are Alabama 3, Xavier Rudd, Old Crow Medicine Show plus a host of unsigned acts.
SWAP Festival 07 runs until Saturday, September 28. For a full line-up and where to buy tickets
