Tony cuts up rough over Moz

WHILE thousands of fans packed into Morrissey's city gigs over the weekend, one person you wouldn't have caught dead at the altar of Moz is Manchester music mogul Tony Wilson.

I hear that the Factory Records boss is somewhat peeved that Mozzer called his former protégés Joy Division "incredibly boring" at a Texas music festival.

In an interview with music magazine Uncut this month, Tony sniffs: "Everyone knows Joy Division were one of the greatest bands of all time and that Ian Curtis was the most electrifying singer of any decade. In my opinion, without Marr's chord changes, Morrissey couldn't write a melody to save his life."

With a parting shot, he blasted: "It speaks volumes that they've made a movie about me and they're now making a movie about Ian Curtis and nobody is making one about the miserable **** from Altrincham."

Over to you Moz...
