THE former Comic Strip star and Young One Nigel Planner is to star in the cult comedy The Rocky Horror Show when it arrives here on Monday.

Richard OéBrienés stage play é made into a cult film in 1975 starring Susan Sarandon, and spawning a generation of loyal, Time Warp singing fans é arrives on tour with Planner playing the part of the narrator.

Joining him in the show are a couple of other stage favourites - former Hear'Say singer and Summer Holiday star Suzanne Shaw as Janet, and Jerry David Bedella, winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for his portrayal of Satan in Jerry Springer - The Opera, who will play the much-loved Frank N Furter.
