THE protest against the takeover of Manchester United by Malcolm Glazer will make its mark on the music world next week.

The single We'll Never Die, the brainchild of Salford band Hanky Park and New Order bassist Peter Hook, is released on Monday.

The single also features celebrity United fans Terry Christian and Will Mellor, while the video sees a cast of hundreds of fans marching around Old Trafford.

"It's not about novelty, notoriety or even a Number One, it's about United and reclaiming our club," says lead singer James Davenport.

The launch party is at Manchester's Dry Bar on Sunday from 8pm, with Hanky Park playing live. Tweet
