GOOD things come in threes so no wonder these two people pictured with Rio Ferdinand are all smiles, they're just two of the shining stars to have emerged from his city-wide search to find Manchester's hottest music talent.

Pictured with the Reds defender are Nia Jai, left, and Mark Menzies, right, who took to the stage with the footballer at Music Zone's Northern Fusion event, which was held at city centre club Ampersand to celebrate the best of Manchester music and fashion.

Mark and Nia have made it to the final of Rio's White Chalk talent contest, which is being held later this year. Tweet
