AS stories continue to fill the national newspapers about the overwhelming stream of donations being made to the Asian tsunami disaster fund, it's good to know the people of Manchester are clubbing together to do their bit too.
In recent days a number of entertainment events have already been organised across the city in a bid to boost the appeal coffers further, with more expected to follow.

Hi we are holding a Charity Evening at St Ann's Social Club, Stretford, Manchester. This is for the Tsunami Disaster and will take place on Sat 5th Februrary. If possible could we have some coverage. Alot of the large Irish Contractors will be attending and we have had donations from all the local football/rugby clubs of auction gifts and raflle prizes. Thanks in advance.
