TAKE That have added extra dates to their 2007 world tour due to heavy demand for tickets.
Tickets for the shows at Birmingham's NEC, Newcastle and Glasgow all sold out within an hour of going on sale.
Phone lines jammed and for the first time in over two and a half years, Ticketmaster’s website crashed as fans logged on to bag tickets when they were released at 9am.
Thousands of fans camped out at venues overnight, queuing around the block to secure tickets for the 22 date tour.
Take That have added six new dates, with tickets going on sale at 11am.
The new dates are as follows; London, 6th, 7th, 8th December and Manchester's M.E.N. Arena, 21st, 22nd, 23rd December.
Take That will play the M.E.N. Arena from Monday, December 10 until Saturday, December 15 (excluding Dec 12) and Monday, December 17 until Sunday, December 23 (excluding Dec 20). £25, £45. Call the Box Office on 0870 060 1768 or

It took 3 hrs 21 minutes of redialing the NEC but I got tickets for myself and some friends. None spare sorry but there is an ethical ticket exchange site somewhere on the Web...

Feel very lucky but think that after the chaos of last time TT tickets went on sale, perhaps this tour should have had staggered release dates eg the NEC friday, MEN Saturday etc etc so there is a better chance of the website holding up under the pressure.

Congratulations to all that managed to get tickets and I hope all Take Thats fans enjoy the show - which I am sure will be brilliant.

This is the first time we have had problems with getting tickets but we think that ticket master should organise things better and if there are ptoblems like tickets being sold for more than they were purchased for then something should be done

I also do think that if no one bid on those tickets it would serve them right - but is clear that people are, so more fools them.

So why can't a similar system work for all gigs? It might require more manpower on the day to verify customer details on collection, but it would mean that touts would have less chance of being able to sell them in advance as they would have to turn up on the day with the card in hand and then physically hand them over to the REAL fans.

And they bought them just to see Robbie, fools, as if he is going to join them, when he's bigger than them, at least he's moved on, there still stuck in the 90's...living of old fame....how embarrassing, well maybe next time the same people shouldn't buy for every day,and get a life, and let others have a look in. I'm a huge Robbie fan....and roll on when he's back, the TT thing now has been over done,
COME ON ROB
