THE Soup Kitchen on Spear Street, facing Stevenson Square, has opened. Recent trial runs produced rave reviews and instant popularity.

On one of the trial days, Soup Kitchen closed with the sign ‘Sold out of everything’ on the door.

Owned by the folk from the Bay Horse bar/pub on Thomas Street, this could become a home from home for many a zeitgeist following Northern Quarter type.
