NATIONAL Vegetarian Week (May 19-25) promotes the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle.

Now on June 4 Grub Street are re-printing it at £14.99. The Syrian-born polymath/artist, who died aged 47 in 1987, founded a chain of Armenian restaurants in the Manchester area.
