THE contestants from the BBC's music star talent contest Fame Academy phenomenon are to perform in Manchester next year as part of a national tour.

All twelve of the students who performed on the BBC series - David, Lemar, Sinead, Ainslie, Malachi, Katie, Marli, Nigel, Camilla, Pippa, Chris and Ashley ' will be performing at the M.E.N Arena on April 11 2003.

Tickets for the show are now on sale priced '22.50.

The students will perform their own material and recreate their best loved performances from the TV show., while the public will have the chance to be involved in the show.

The tour news comes as the TV series reaches it's climax with the three remaining students - David, Lemar and Sinead ' battling it out to win the public vote and secure the biggest ever prize offered on TV - a million pound record contract with Mercury Records, along with the chance to live the life of an international pop star.

Fame Academy will be at the M.E.N Arena on April 11 2003.
