MANCHESTER International Arts, renowned for their imaginative and highly-adventurous outdoor programming, have put together a season of "Enchanted Evenings" to light the city throughout the summer.

First up on June 17 and 18 is Feast! - a mass picnic round a lake, with entertainment at your tables, circus acts and a waterborn tuba serenade. Entrance is free.

From July 14 to 17, the glorious Belgian Circus Ronaldo returns with more madcap antics from the Ronaldo brothers. Tickets are é12/é6 concessions.

Carabosse

And finally, from September 28 to 30, French company Carabosse will be lighting up the night with atmospheric "fire sculptures". Tickets are é1, with children getting in for free.

All the events take place in Platt Fields Park, Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield, and more details are available from Manchester council's leisure department.
