THE eighth International Doodlebug Day takes place on September 3, signalling the start of its biggest ever programme of street art.

The launch will take place at the event's usual home at the Cornerhouse, with visual artists from around Manchester, the UK and beyond doodling on the venue's walls and windows.

Then throughout September and October, artists will be invited to produce large-scale public murals at 12 different sites throughout the city centre.
