IT'S fright night down at Manchester Museum as it joins in the European La Nuit des Musées festival and throws open its doors until late for an evening of cinema and literature.

In what CityLife reckons will be the best of Saturday's takeovers, Phobic is invading the Mummy Room for Fear And Now, a night of modern horror stories read by thriller novelist Chaz Brenchley and crime writer Christine Poulson.
