Before you can hold a converance and speak out against knifes and gun crime, first you must seek to ask the right questions and see the clear truth and not to be blindsided like the P.M. etc. Moss Side is veiled in a cloak of lies and unsolved deaths. But understanding the real truth may explain why you can never put TRIDENT in our community over the unworkable Task force they have in place. Good luck with your meeting dear Cherie; because those who live in this reality, already know; empty words will continue to cost communitys like Moss Side, the lives of generations to come... You can always leave and return to the safety of your home.
Do you really believe you and others like you, who talk about taking action, can; with your words, BREAK the ring of death, silence and more funding for doing nothing. I dont think so. When CrimeWatch can even let down family,Youth and the Community with a reconstruction of the murder of Jessie James. You know no one cares that a black child is dead...so keep talking about nothing, you will get praised for your it..
Unhappy Diner (06/05/2008 at 14:30)
We sat in the dining area in a booth at the back of the restaurant. During our main meal we noticed a lot of flies. One landed in my pizza and on my glass of red wine.
I could accept the fact that flies were present if I had been sat outside. No air-conditioning? I was informed a number of customers had complained during the day. I brought this to the attention of the waiter and he called the duty manager.
I felt so humiliated as I was making a genuine complaint – when imagine my dismay that she offered to pro-rata what I’d actually eaten! No consideration for the fact that my meal was ruined by the constant presence of flies…I noticed there was no deterrent in operation for the flies eg insect repellent machines etc.
Has anyone else had a similar upsetting experience at Dukes?

This started going down hill years ago when Manchester Airport threw open the baggage handling to tender to get the cheapest possible handling agent to handle the baggage.
Previous to this there was a company (Ringway Handling Services) who were a dedicated agent employed by the airport for the loading and unloading of aircraft and this company has now been wound up giving the contracts to any company willing to work for the minimum pay, thus they are not employed by the Airport as were RHS. This to me looks as if Manchester Airport are getting to the stage where they do not want to employ people, but simply want to be landlords all this to the detriment of the passengers, further more i would question what security checks are made on the employees of the companies doing the baggage handling as i have been told some are agency workers.

Our bin trucks that collect the glass and paper .last week we had two very large trucks pick up two bins? there was around six mens wages and all the fuel that these two trucks use? so the ratepayers are paying a massive amount of money to recycle just a small amount of glass/paper/cardboard? why not just have what we used to have a small truck with two men .to send two very large trucks with six men is a bit of overkill i think.

The Atkins were originally from Norfolk John Edward Atkins and they were all listed on the 1901 census.
I would be delighted to share the work I have done on the connections to the 1700...
Thank you
