I WAS staggered when I heard that Old Trafford will miss out on a test match for three years straight.

Jim Cumbes trumpets the fact we are getting two 20/20 internationals against Australia as ‘fantastic news.’

I beg to differ.

The decision regarding the loss of test matches is the worst news I have heard about Lancs in all my years as a member and is a severe blow to north west sport.

I know a number of members who are outraged by this news and the comments of Mr Cumbes.
