TOM Hardman could be back for Heywood this weekend as they bid to keep their season firing on two fronts.
The 18-year-old all-rounder missed most of June after tearing an oblique muscle near his ribcage. But the Lancashire Academy prospect was hoping to receive clearance from Old Trafford for a return to action on Cup and League fronts.
Tomorrow (Friday), Heywood got to reigning John Willie Lees Twenty20 Cup champions Unsworth in the quarter-finals of this year’s competition (6.15).
And on Saturday the CLL title holders will be hopeful of another victory when they entertain struggling Oldham (1.45).
