Its not just the grids which are missing in a small amount of instances ...its the total road surface.
Tameside must be one of the most dangerous places to drive a car.
Yes you are watching the road ...but not, in a lot of instances, the other road users, because you are too busy dodging and driving round potholes.
I have yet to drive a straight line on the majority of roads in the Tameside area.
So the Council want public help to report grids shame they aint as concerned about the roads and peoples safety and belongings...I have lost count of the amount of cds in my car that have been ruined because of pot holes and i dread to think what damage its doing to my car ....And now the council want our help are they going to buy me a new car and replace all my cds...Errr i think not!!...Go out in car and constantly trying to avoid pot holes and make sure police aint going to stop me incase they assume Drink is the factor to my constant swaying!!...Rmbc Concentrate on our roads more instead of spending public money to benefit yourselfs....Metrolink new housing office new shops even though we have over 50 shops closed already i could continue with the list of changes to Rochdale but whats the point no one wants to listen at Rmbc.....Rochdales a DUMP!!...No matter whats done to improve it it will always be like ghost town and will have more shops closed than open because of the charges you charge for Rates.....Common sense why do you think Rochdales in the mess its in now.....& B V Flute its not just tameside that have pot holes...I spend alot of time in Ashton and i can assure you the roads are perfect compaired to the roads in Rochdale.......................
While you're at it why not do the same for missing bins? I've not seen mine this year as it's been pinched by a lazy neighbour who can't remember when bin day is.
