GLOSSOP Bowling Club is informing local bowlers of three forthcoming events at North Road.

The first is a ladies county match which sees North Derbyshire Ladies face Coventry and District ladies on Sunday, June 28 with the game starting at 2pm.

That is followed by the Harriet Jackson Trophy competition, played on Sunday, August 2.

Starting at 10am, that is open to all players affiliated to the Longdendale League. Entries can be made with Andy Dawson on 01457 854234.

Finally, the Leo Lynch mixed pairs event is on Sunday, September 13 with entries limited to the first 32 pairs to have paid.
